Covid-19

While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety and the safety of our staff and families.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) . We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations. The recent upgrade of our 3 separate circulation systems to hospital grade filtration is one of the many additions to our office for enhanced patient well-being.

What to expect when you visit our office

Pre-screenings: we will communicate with all patients prior to visits including screening questions, and conduct pre-screening before entering the office including taking temperatures.

Personal Protective Masks: anyone entering the facility is required to wear a protective facemask, which should remain on unless otherwise directed.

Waiting Room (and Car): we will limit the number of patients in the office at one time to allow or social distancing, including the waiting room. We’ll ask patients to call us by phone from their car when they arrive, and we will notify them when to come inside.

Hand Sanitizer and Disinfectant: when entering the building we will provide antimicrobial hand disinfectant as well as an antimicrobial mouth rinse prior to any treatment.

Employee: Doctors and staff members will have additional protective gear such as the use of a N95/KN95 mask, surgical mask, face shield, hair protection and disposable gowns.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you and every patient safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office (201) 327-3060 or visit our website at www.RamseyFamilyDental.com

Thank you for your patience. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients!
